Twenty-five days left in Canada.
Twenty-five days before I head to South Africa.
For 365 days.
Twenty-five days left to spend with my family. I will miss each one of them, corny eye-rolling dinner-time jokes and all. I will miss birthdays, holidays, and milestones. But I'm ready. Ready to become a part of a new family.
Six days left of work. I will miss the families I've met, the friends I've made, the kiddos I've worked with. I don't want to say goodbye to them... But I'm ready. Ready for my next role with Hands at Work.
Four Sundays left. I will miss my church, relaxing family nights, and long naps... But I'm ready. Ready for a new kind of Sunday.
The countdown is on!
I am thoroughly enjoying these last few weeks with friends and family, and I can't wait to see what God has in store for me for the next year in Africa.
